The PTA Nomination Committee considers all persons interested in serving as a PTA Officer for next year's term, which begins July 1, 2018. Our goal is to see that every parent has a voice on our PTA and is given the chance to become actively involved in enriching the educational opportunities at our school. Serving as a PTA board member provides a unique understanding and appreciation of our school and is a personally rewarding experience! Thank you in advance for your willingness to serve!
Per the Bylaws and Standing Rules of the organization the PTA annually elects the President, hConnect Vice-President, Montessori Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Bylaws limit any one person from serving more than 2 consecutive years in a single position.
Chairs of the Fundraising, Membership, and Family and Community Engagement Committees are appointed by the elected officers and also serve on the PTA Board.
To be elected or appointed you must be a member of the PTA for at least 15 days prior to the election. Membership forms are located in the office.
Nomination forms are available in the ORLA office (complete and return to the PTA's blue mailbox), or complete this online form.
All nominations must be submitted by Tuesday, May 8, 2018. The election will take place at the PTA’s Annual Meeting on May 17 at 6:30pm.
