Scholarship Opportunity for Graduating Seniors

The Washington State PTA (WSPTA) is proud to offer four $2,500 scholarships to graduating seniors from public high schools in Washington State with an active PTA. These scholarships are designed to support students who plan to start college—whether at a two-year or four-year institution—this coming fall. Once recipients provide proof of their college acceptance, WSPTA will issue a check directly to the school they will be attending, which can be used for tuition, books, supplies, or room and board.

To be eligible, applicants must have a current GPA of at least 3.4, be actively involved with their school’s PTA/PTSA, and demonstrate community engagement through at least three volunteer activities. Additionally, students will need to respond to an essay prompt: “How has volunteering within my community helped me today and into the future?” (maximum 500 words).
