Help Make Winter Fair 2024 Amazing!
We’d love to have you join us in making Winter Fair 2024 a memorable event! This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our dedicated volunteers. Many hands make light work, and having more volunteers means that everyone gets to have more fun. Scroll down for more details and to sign up.
Volunteers Needed:
It takes a whole team to create a fantastic Winter Fair, and that team starts working well before the event day! Here’s how you can help:
Planning Committee: Join our planning committee to help organize and execute all the tasks for Winter Fair. We aim to keep meetings to a minimum and focus on making the event special. And we share an online chat space so that anyone can help, even if you can’t attend the meetings.
Pre-event Prep Crew: Volunteers assist in decorating, organizing supplies, and helping plan activities in the weeks leading up to Winter Fair.
Set-Up Crew (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM): Help set up for the event, prepare vendor tables, and make sure everything is ready to go.
Clean-Up Crew (6:30 PM - 7:15 PM): After the event, help us clean up and clear the space so we can leave it like we found it.
Event Crew: These volunteers are crucial for greeting guests, running the bake sale, supervising activities like kids’ crafts, manning our present wrapping station, managing the quiet room, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. We have two shifts for event day:
First Shift (3:45 PM - 5:15 PM)
Second Shift (5:15 PM - 6:30 PM)
We welcome both adult and student volunteers in all roles. If you need flexibility with your time, let us know—we’ll make it work!
To our many Fair bakers:
We thank you all so much for the many years of yummy baked goods you’ve provided! This year’s bake sale inventory will be largely supplied by kind donations from local bakeries. We would love to still have a few home-baked items to fuel our volunteer team on Fair day. If you're interested in baking, please let us know by noting it in the more information section on the form below.
Important Reminder:
All adult volunteers must complete the Olympia School District volunteer process before participating.
